Angler's Retreat is a Vacation Rental located in Cassel CA. a few minutes outside of Burney and about one hour northeast of Redding in Shasta County. The home sleeps 12 people and is available with nightly rental and weekly rental rates. It is a four bedroom, two bath home on 1/2 acre, just 3 blocks from fabulous trout fishing at Hat Creek, and a mile from renowned Baum Lake, a year round trout fishing lake. The area boasts wildlife galore, with honkers flying overhead, deer around every corner, ducks on every water body, and bald eagles looking to catch fish too.
The home is nicely appointed with a cabin decor, and a fully stocked kitchen, laundry, Direct TV, a game room with a pool table, ping-pong top and many board games to keep you entertained. There is a lovely woodstove to watch the fire by on winter or cool spring and fall nights.
The retreat is located only 15 minutes from the famed Burney Falls, and 15 minutes from the four star Fall River Mills golf course. Local Rivers including, the Fall River, the Pit River, the McCloud River, Burney Creek, and Hat Creek provide the best trout fishing and fly-fishing in all of California. Lassen National Park is an hour south, and Mount Shasta including the Shasta Ski Lodge is an hour to the north. The lovely and quaint town of McCloud awaits your discovery too.
